General Patient Pediatric Patient
We work hard to ensure that our new patients are well at ease because we know that visiting a doctor for the first time can be overwhelming and nerve wrecking.
At our office, you will be welcomed with a warm greeting, you can complete the paperwork in the comfort of your own home,
and we will simply have a conversation on strategies that will contribute to the quality of your life.
Your first visit will last about an hour for the consult and examination, and will serve as the information gathering time. The second visit lasts about 30 minutes and reviews all of the information gathered during the first visit in order to develop a customized plan of action. We always welcome additional members of your family to accompany you during the second visit so that they can become educated about the next steps as well.
What To Expect
We want you to feel comfortable with the decision of joining our practice. Therefore, please read the information below and if you still have any questions, please call our office for an answer.
New Patient Forms: Complete the New Patient Forms prior to visiting the practice. This will save approximately 15-20 minutes, and allow you to complete the documents in the comfort of your own home.
Consultation: During the initial Health Consultation, you can share what you desire from your life and what you believe is preventing you from making this a reality. This consultation assesses your current well-being and then communicates your definition of a life without limitations.
Examination: At the conclusion of the initial health consultation, we will perform a complete and comprehensive chiropractic wellness examination that will test your reflexes and range of motion, as well as many standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations.
X-Rays/MRI: A series X-rays or potentially an MRI may be needed to allow us to clearly determine a proper care plan (which are completed off location). X-rays provide us with an objective diagnostic tool that will show us the position of the spinal bones, as well as the quality of the spine and safety of adjusting it. We also use X-rays to determine how long a subluxation has been developing.
Report of Findings: You will be scheduled for your Report of Findings within a few days of your initial visit, at which point we will share the results that we found with you. You may invite anyone in your family to accompany you, if you choose. Your Report of Findings includes a detailed analysis of what you need in order to solve the problem that brought you into our office and what can be done in order to assure that it won’t happen again. We consider your current lifestyle choices, goals for the future and challenges that are standing in your way. This is why our recommendations are extremely comprehensive and have the chance to be the solution that you have been seeking to find.
Ongoing: Our entire staff strives to keep waiting times to a minimum so we ask that all patients be prompt for their appointments so we can stay on track. Your adjustments will be given by the doctor, then anything else done during that visit will depend on the doctor’s recommendations. Stretching or exercise instruction, or other advice, may be given as part of the doctor’s plan for you. Questions are not only welcomed, they are encouraged. Knowledge is power.
We consistently update and customize your wellness programs. The foundation for our overall health is based on proper spinal alignment, nutritious foods, regular exercise, high quality supplementation and a variety of stress relief techniques.
We look forward to working with you so that YOU can live a life of complete health and vitality!
